What the label establishes here
The Demo category includes only available laptop configurations whose stored condition is Demo. A model with New and Demo offers can appear in both shopping categories, but each link selects the relevant configuration.
The label does not establish a universal demonstration history. Do not assume every Demo machine was an ex-display unit, a customer return or a nearly unused device. Ask sales about the specific offer if prior use or packaging is critical.
Condition is separate from cosmetic grade
The displayed grade describes cosmetic presentation independently of the Demo condition. Grade A does not make the device New, and Grade B does not automatically mean weak performance. CPU, memory, storage and screen belong to the exact configuration.
Read both condition and grade when comparing prices. If photographs or a description leave cosmetic details unclear, request clarification about the actual available units. Do not use a model-level marketing description to override the selected offer’s condition.
What to verify for the individual unit
Check the exact processor, RAM, SSD, display, ports and operating system against your workload. Verify touchscreen, convertible design and pen support individually; a model family can contain materially different configurations.
Confirm included charger, packaging, battery expectations and warranty and returns terms. The Demo label does not establish manufacturer coverage or a battery runtime guarantee. For multiple units, verify how many matching configurations are available.
How to compare a Demo offer fairly
Compare it with similarly specified New, refurbished and used offers, using current public prices and the full delivered cost. Separate any condition preference from a measured hardware requirement.
For the value decision, use the dedicated worth-buying guide. For preparation and condition differences, use Demo vs Refurbished. Keeping those questions separate helps you find current stock without treating Demo as a synonym for another category.
