3. Product Information and Availability

3.1. We sell new, demo, refurbished and used IT equipment. The applicable condition and cosmetic grade are shown for each configuration; demo products have been opened or used for demonstration and are not represented as new.

3.2. Product grades are clearly indicated and include:

Grade A: Excellent condition with minimal signs of use
Grade B: Good condition with light cosmetic wear
Grade C: Fair condition with visible cosmetic wear but fully functional

3.3. Product availability is subject to stock on hand. We reserve the right to limit quantities and discontinue products without notice.

4. Pricing and Payment

4.1. All prices are displayed in South African Rand (ZAR) as the final public product price. VAT is not charged at this time.

4.2. We accept the following payment methods:

Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT)
Credit/Debit Cards via secure payment gateway
Instant EFT

4.3. Orders paid via EFT will only be processed once payment reflects in our account.

4.4. Any applicable VAT and delivery charge are disclosed before payment and reflected on the order record.

4.5. We reserve the right to change prices without prior notice, but changes will not affect orders already placed.

5. Wholesale Accounts

5.1. Wholesale pricing is available to approved dealers and resellers.

5.2. Wholesale applications are subject to verification and approval at our discretion.

5.3. Minimum order quantities apply to wholesale orders as specified for each product.

5.4. Wholesale accounts may be suspended or terminated for violation of these Terms.

6. Shipping and Delivery

6.1. We deliver throughout South Africa via courier services.

6.2. Standard delivery is estimated at 3-7 business days after payment confirmation. Outlying destinations or courier disruptions may take longer.

6.3. Free shipping applies when the cart subtotal is at least R5,000.

6.4. Risk of loss and title for products pass to you upon delivery.

6.5. You are responsible for inspecting products upon delivery and reporting any damage within 24 hours.

7. Returns and Refunds

7.1. We offer a 7-day return policy from the date of delivery for products that are:

Defective or not as described
In original condition with all accessories
Returned with proof of purchase

7.2. To initiate a return, contact us at returns@affordablelaptops.co.za with your order number and reason for return.

7.3. Return shipping costs are the customer's responsibility unless the product is defective.

7.4. Refunds will be processed within 5-10 business days after receipt and inspection of the returned product.

8. Warranty

8.1. All refurbished laptops come with a 6-month warranty covering hardware defects.

8.2. The warranty does not cover:

Physical damage caused by misuse or accidents
Software issues
Battery degradation (batteries are consumables)
Liquid damage
Unauthorized repairs or modifications

8.3. Warranty claims must be accompanied by proof of purchase.

9. Limitation of Liability

9.1. To the fullest extent permitted by law, AffordableLaptops (Pty) Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use of our products or services.

9.2. Our total liability shall not exceed the purchase price of the product in question.

10. Privacy and Data Protection

10.1. Your use of our website and services is subject to our Privacy Policy, which can be found at affordablelaptops.co.za/privacy.

10.2. We comply with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA) of South Africa.

11. Intellectual Property
